This stylized arrangement of a solo Peter Holsapple tune, crowned by a wonderful Snüzz vocal, pays homage to the PH factor, circa The dB’s. It boasts an accelerated tempo, guitars that bite instead of jangle, and shotgun drums that reflect the ingenuity of Keith Moon. The stacks of lush vocal harmonies, courtesy of Snüzz, float atop a melodic bass line that nods at dB’s bassist Gene Holder. The ending sonic maelstrom is the gleeful detonation of a Chris Garges-arranged assortment of guitar pedals at the feet of guitarist/accomplice Joe Louis DeFacto.

Lyrics

Away with love/do away with love, away with love
Do away with love/enough is enough
She stood in my room
Tall and silent, what else could I do?
Say I'll stay with you?
Do we
Do away with love?

A way to love/I need a way to love, a way to love
Allay my fears/when you're not here, you're not here
Oh, I waited in the bar,
So I wondered where the hell you are
What more can I say?
Say I'll stay with you?
Then what more can I do?
Do we
Do away with love?

Away

Now I suppose/that's how it goes, that's how it goes
You lose a few/some by a nose, some by a nose
Oh, I waited in the hall
You call and she answers, it's true
What am I supposed to do?
I'm in love with her, and not with you
What more can I say?
Say I'll stay with you?
And what else is there now?
Do we

And what else is there now?
Do we
Do away with love?
Away
